Sea is unimaginably vast place and there are unlimited sea creatures in it. Only a few of these sea creatures have been discovered untill now and a large number of it is still hidden in the sea. Here we have made a list of biggest sea creatures discovered by humans.

1. Biggest Cat Fish

This is the biggest ever cat fish caught. The weight of this biggest cat fish is 293 kg and 9 feet long. A fisherman  of Thailand caught it on May 1, 2005. The villagers tried to keep it alive with all possible sources but it did not survive and got eaten by the people.

2. Biggest Stingray

Again this biggest fresh water fish was caught in Thailand. Its weight was 256kg.

3. Largest Salmon

This is the world's biggest salmon ever caught. A DFG biologist got the credit of capturing this biggest salmon fish while doing some survey on this species of salmon. Popularly known as Chinok salmon, its weight is 88 pounds and 51 inch in length.

4. Biggest Eel of the world

This 5 ft and 3 inch eel is also one of the heaviest eel. It took 4 men to get it out of water.

5. Biggest Shark of the world

This is the biggest shark of the world till now. It is 21 ft long. The fishermen caught it in Mediterranean sea.

6. World's Biggest Crab

If you are curious to know about the biggest crab of the world let me inform you that Varanger king crab species is the one. It was caught in northern Pacific ocean. The size and weight is 2 meters and 15 kg.

7. Biggest Squid of the world

The other name of this specie of ocean is cephalopod or Collosal squid . This amazing creature of sea belongs to Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni. The length of the squid is 6 meters long and 495 in weight. This is the biggest squid captured till now.

8. Largest Marlin of the world

This largest marlin that I am talking about was captured in Kona, Hawaii. The marlin fish was so big that it took 2 hours and 20 minutes to kill it and then it was controlled. The weight of this biggest water animal is 1,656 pounds and 17 foot long.

9. Largest Barracuda of the world

This largest barracuda was captured on the Christmas island by a fisherman. According to all the records this barracuda is the biggest of the world till now and the weight was around 85 pounds to 95 pounds.

10. Largest Black Sea Bass

This biggest black sea bass was of 400 pound and was unfortunately caught in San Quintin,Cielito, Baja California, Mexico by a local guide. The sea creature was so large in size that it actually took an hour to get it in control.
